So, I’m technically not in NY at the moment, which makes this blog a LIE, a BOLD-FACE LIE!
But, I’ll at least keep my duty to remind those that Restaurant Week has come around again. Okay, so I’m a little late. Sue me; I’m in Georgia. At least you can still catch the 2nd half.
For those of you who don’t know, Restaurant Week is the time many high-end restaurants offer a prix-fixe (fixed price) meal at a considerably cheaper price then they normally do. $24.07 for Lunch and $35 for Dinner (+ the whopping 8.375% NY Sales Tax). Just look at their normal menus and you’ll know it’s a deal. Also, note that it’s only during the week, not the weekends.
And, NO not every restaurant in Manhattan is giving away cheap bites, only certain ones and for certain meals. So check the list.
Don’t fret too much if you miss it. Unlike Christmas, this baby comes around twice a year. Just try again in January.
I’ve browsed the list, and if I could, I would definitely choose to go to Butter at 415 LaFayette St. Not only because the name sounds so fattening, but because it actually lists the menu they offer for restaurant week. gasp! Is that honestly so hard to do??
But I digress. The website looks nice, the interior looks nice, but most importantly, the menu they are offering looks delectable. Makes me wish I were back up there now.
